John Dady has been singing his way into the hearts of his audiences since the 1970’s when he and his brother Joe produced their first album as “The Dady Brothers”. Many more albums followed, along with thousands of concerts and songs. They performed throughout the eastern United States and across Ireland. John and Joe’s brotherly harmonies and adept command of a variety of instruments captivated audiences both young and old. In 2020, The Dady Brothers were chosen to be inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame.

Since Joe’s untimely death in 2019, John has continued the tradition, performing solo or with several accomplished musician friends. Most often, he is joined by John Michael Ryan on penny whistle and button accordion.

Accompanying himself on upside-down, left-handed guitar and ukulele, John’s vast repertoire of songs includes original compositions, Irish and American Folk songs, popular tunes from the Big Band Era to the Beatles and the Band, and the list goes on. He tailors each performance to foster a personal connection with his audience, and that connection is evident at every show.
