Brush With Knowledge - a podcast about Teaching Artistry
Brush with Knowledge is a podcast for anyone passionate about art and education. Each episode, we delve into the world of teaching artists to uncover how they use their creativity to inspire and educate students of all ages. From classroom techniques to personal stories of inspiration, we explore the power of art to transform education and change lives. Join us on this journey of discovery, and unlock the potential of your own creativity.
Teaching Artists ROC's Executive Director, Larry Moss, hosts this podcast featuring many of the teaching artists found on our roster. In depth conversations with the artists will give you insights into what drives each of them in their teaching artist practice, from cultural influences on their teaching and performances to their approaches to STEAM teaching.
Brush with Knowledge is available as an audio podcast from most popular podcast platforms. If you can’t find it, let us know and we’ll do what we can to get it onto the platform you use. It’s also available on YouTube. All episodes are captioned on YouTube. Most episodes have some visual elements available for those of you watching it, giving you a chance to see the work of the artists on the show.
And of course, lots of information and a player to view shows is available at BrushWithKnowledge.com. Two episodes are live now. One with Darren Stevenson from PUSH Physical Theatre, and one with artist Unique Fair. Check them out and let us know what you think.
